If you get caught cheating don’t you think you’d admit to it instead of lie your way out of it? This reader wants to know what’s really going on.
Dear Annabelle,
I discovered through text messages that my fiancée of almost 3 years was talking to a girl he met a few months ago. I confronted her and she said she had no idea he was with anyone. This wasn’t the first time. Awhile ago he made a profile on a sex / dating website and was talking to women there too. He doesn’t want to talk about it and says he’s never cheated, only flirted. I’m confused about what to do. We have 2 children. Please help!
Your fiancée is lying. No one goes on a dating website to flirt. He won’t talk about it cause he’s cheating, he got caught and can’t lie his way out of it. If you get married, he will cheat on you. A guy who is on dating sites at this stage of your relationship will only get worse the longer you are together. Unless he gets some serious therapy, he is never going to stop cheating.
Your situation is messier because you have children but it is clear that their dad is a dog who cheats on and disrespects their mom.
