Relationships are a progression. In the beginning they are exciting and you want to spend as much time as possible with each other getting to know and exploring one another. Once the newness wears off, you settle into a pattern. At first this might seem like something is wrong. It’s perfectly normal to ask…
Is My Boyfriend Losing Interest?
Dear Annabelle,
My boyfriend and I have been together for 7 months. When we first started dating he called me from work everyday to check in and say hi. I’ve noticed recently that he doesn’t call as much as he used to. Everything else seems ok. We still see each other as much but, I’m wondering why the daily calls stopped. Is something going on at work? Should I be concerned?
If he’s acting normally in every other sense, I think everything is ok. It appears to be a sign of his confidence in your relationship. You have become a permanent fixture in his life and he doesn’t have to call you every day from work to make sure you’re still interested. Relationships are a progression that are ever-changing. It’s normal to occasionally wonder is my boyfriend losing interest. If relationships remained as they were in the beginning, the entire world would be sleep deprived from staying up all night talking and having sex.
That being said, if you miss his daily phone calls there’s no reason not to let him know. If you don’t want to tell him directly, why not send him a sexy text telling him what you’d like to do to him later that night. I bet he’ll be calling you from work that day
